The Work

What Rob does —
and how he does it.

Three distinct practices. One consistent standard.

Web & IT Consulting

Technology that works for the people using it.

Small and mid-sized organizations — businesses, churches, nonprofits — that need a web presence or technology guidance they can actually rely on. Not a templated solution handed off without explanation, but something built to fit, with someone available when questions come up.

Rob's background in Solutions Architecture means he's spent his career at the intersection of what stakeholders need, what teams can deliver, and what clients can understand. That carries directly into every web and IT engagement.

Photography & Drone Imaging

Visual content that understands its context.

Photography created by someone who already knows what the image needs to do. Drone footage for websites, pitch decks, and commercial use. Event, portrait, and concert photography for clients who need the work to hold up professionally.

Rob also consults on photo and video lighting setups for podcast and studio environments — remote and in-studio — where getting the light right matters as much as the camera.

Music Technology

Instruction and consulting that meets you where you are.

Keyboards, synthesizers, DAWs, digital pianos, performance rigs — Rob has spent decades working with these instruments as both a performer and a consultant. He knows what trips people up, and he knows how to fix it without making anyone feel like they should have read the manual first.

Teaching is tailored to how each client actually learns — whether that's visual demonstration, hands-on working through, or careful explanation. The goal is always understanding that lasts, not a workaround that gets forgotten.

What these have in common

Three practices. One disposition.

Every service Rob offers exists at the same intersection: creative thinking applied to technical problems, or technical rigour applied to creative work. A website is a communication tool that happens to be built with code. A drone shot is a business asset that happens to require a pilot. A keyboard rig is an instrument waiting to be understood.

What connects all of it is a single capability — sitting between the people who need a result and the systems that produce it, and making sure what gets built actually works. The thread running through all of it isn't a skill set. It's a disposition. Rob has always been most useful in the space between what someone needs and what the technology can do. Getting those two things to meet, clearly and without unnecessary friction, is what he does. It's what he's always done.

The role had a formal title in his IT career. The approach has always been the same.
